Nothing to disagree with in your observations. Far too often the gvt does
stupid or sinister things. Its just that this is not all that the gvt does.
So, to make it a principle that gvt intervention, per se, is evil,
is really a one-sided way to look at things.

Government intervention here lately is the NLRB interfering with the
internal decisions at Boeing to protect Unionized workers and only Unionized
workers.

It is preventing the Keystone XL pipeline and killing 20,000 jobs, while
the person making the decision bashes Republicans for not passing his Jobs
bill. (Can we say Hypocrite In Chief?? YES WE CAN!!!)

It is EPA regulations that will shut down coal power plants and coal mines
while still keeping a lid on most other power plants thus insuring higher
prices and brownouts and blackouts next year. He promised to make
electricity prices skyrocket and he is. But just how can one afford to buy,
much
less charge their new Chevy Volt at such rates?

There's your government intervention, in the face of the fact that since
the "crisis year" of 1998, there's been global cooling, NOT global warming.

And surprise, workers in Charlotte, NC. To get a job at the Democratic
National Convention, you have to be a member of a union. In a right to work
state. So just use the Federal hammer to knock down state laws that the DNC
doesn't like. That's what Dimocrats call Federalism.

I will get to the amendments another time.
