Ernie,

We agree about the improbability of a Gingrich's brain meltdown and the
liability of his other baggage. If Gingrich ever gets close to the glare of
the scrutiny that goes with being a front-runner, he will fade away. He
will be sunk by his history; such as, the recent shopping spree/trip
(relatively minor) and his earlier hypocrisy of raking Clinton over the
coals for his Lewinski scandal while he was having his own affair (during a
time when his wife had cancer). Heartwarming fellow.

Isn't he the one whose campaign staff quit because he abandoned them to take
a trip with his wife? Or am I just confused?

I agree he won't have a brain meltdown like many of his rivals, but I could
easily see him having an organizational breakdown of some kind.
