We also need to start registering by party in Texas and close the open primary to prevent Democratic shenanigans.

Before we commit suicide on the altar of egotistical and shameless individual ambition of short sighted politicians and ensure the total collapse of the economy, Republicans, “conservatives, Tea-Party and independents must realize that must NOW close ranks and take a lesson from the Brits and Spaniards. Find a way to coalesce around two candidates who will run for the two highest offices of President and V-P!

In the UK this meat a temporary alliance with the Liberal Democrats on a shared platform; in Spain it meant uniting behind a recognized and trusted leader (Rajoy – even though he lost the last 2 elections). These examples are painfully obvious. Our crazy primary system that gives an enormous advantage to particular interests in Iowa or new Hampshire is totally outmoded.

Everyone who wants to be certain that Obama will be defeated must understand this.

A ticket with Romney for President and Gingrinch for VP is the only way to go NOW. It would mean that neither of their most fervent supporters will be pleased but this is a small price to pay. Such a ticket will capture 95% of those who currently support the other candidates!

Can we overcome our crazy method of selecting candidates? Or are we so exceptional and unwilling to learn from others? ? ?
