Solomon,

The interesting thing about this list is the "radical" aspect. There is
frequently strong, but respectful, disagreement among the list members.
List members need not and do not agree on all things. For example, Ron
Paul. I have enjoyed reading Kevin's endorsements of Paul even though I
long ago dismissed him as a realistic presidential contender. I like some
of Paul's ideas and I dislike others. Kevin's postings have forced me to
challenge my thinking. Have I gotten complacent? Should I think harder
about Paul?

A principle reason I like the list is my exposure to ideas that takes me
outside my comfort zone. These ideas can lead to new beliefs that may not
have been otherwise possible.

You will find, if you stick around and I hope you do, that there are some
very bright list members who can draw on deep experience, education, and
intellect.

Chris

Obama's Entitlement Coalition

I realize I just joined this group, but I was under the impression it was
for centrists, it being called 'Centroids: The Center of the Radical
Centrist Community <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/radicalcentrism>
' and all not fringe libertarian supporters of Ron Paul-oids. He's far more
extreme on the whole than Obama, or even most of the GOP field, although in
a different way than the social conservatism of most of the rest of the
field.
