Except for Ernie, I probably have the most knowledge here about India. But what I know is very selective and does not include serious background about the politics of India. My interests are primarily cultural and in such areas as India's foreign relations. I have no idea what Lokpal is all about. Since nearly all of us are US citizens with political interests focused on American politics, maybe you could explain. Friends, I just created a petition entitled Lokpal should not overrule the Parliament, because I care deeply about this very important issue. I'm trying to collect 100 signatures, and I could really use your help. To read more about what I'm trying to do and to sign my petition, click here: _http://www.change.org/petitions/lokpal-should-not-overrule-the-parliament?s hare_id=kLNHRVbmLM&_ (http://www.change.org/petitions/lokpal-should-not-overrule-the-parliament?share_id=kLNHRVbmLM&) It'll just take a minute! Once you're done, please ask your friends to sign the petition as well. Grassroots movements succeed because people like you are willing to spread the word! -- B.Karthik Navayan, _http://karthiknavayan.wordpress.com/_ (http://karthiknavayan.wordpress.com/) _https://sites.google.com/site/karthiknavayan/_ (https://sites.google.com/site/karthiknavayan/) -- Centroids: The Center of the Radical Centrist Community <[email protected]> Google Group: _http://groups.google.com/group/RadicalCentrism_ (http://groups.google.com/group/RadicalCentrism) Radical Centrism website and blog: _http://RadicalCentrism.org_ (http://radicalcentrism.org/) -- Centroids: The Center of the Radical Centrist Community <[email protected]> Google Group: http://groups.google.com/group/RadicalCentrism Radical Centrism website and blog: http://RadicalCentrism.org
