Problem is: The city of Cincinnati
was going to cover a parking lot with solar panels to save
$150,000 per year in electricity costs. The cost of the solar
panels: $11 MILLION. The project would pay for itself in 73 years.
Projected life span of the panels? 25 years. That's almost 50 years
short of paying for itself. The math on solar does not work, so we get Solyndra. You can require it all you want, but if the technology isn't there yet, that's insanity. There's the Algae thing, too, but that is about 25 years or more out. In the meantime, this administration is making coal and oil cost prohibitive when the alternatives AREN'T READY YET. WHY?????? If he's the brightest guy in the room, I don't want to see the total dumbass.
