I was surprised at how easily it went. I was reluctant and skipped Vista because of the reviews, but I read a lot of Ziff Davis reviews about 7 and decided it was worth the risk. In retrospect, I think it was worth it. The ZD reviews lead me to believe that the upgrade to 8 from 7 is not worth it, but the upgrade from XP might be.
