Maybe not, but it looks like things are unraveling. A major blunder was made Re : Benghazi, followed by false claims about a You Tube video that were made for a week or more. These false claims were nothing but a smoke screen intended to cover-up the blunder. I still am unconvinced that this story resonates with enough voters to make a difference on Election Day, but the Senate has already scheduled hearings and this matter might well have major impact on the lame duck Congress. The mega-storm about to hit the NE will also make focus on the questions raised by the death of a US ambassador and 3 other Americans hard to come by, that and the media once again acting as BHO cheerleaders, but for your information... This could get interesting. Billy ---------------------- Weekly Standard Petraeus Throws Obama Under the Bus
Oct 26, 2012 • By _WILLIAM KRISTOL_ (http://www.weeklystandard.com/author/william-kristol) Breaking news on Benghazi : the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out _this statement_ (https://twitter.com/jaketapper/status/261936225106132993) : "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ” So who in the _government_ (http://weeklystandard.com/blogs/osama-bin-laden-dead-so-are-tyrone-woods-and-glen-doherty_657876.html) did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No. It would have been a presidential decision. There was presumably a rationale for such a decision. What was it? When and why—and based on whose counsel obtained in what meetings or conversations—did President Obama decide against sending in military assets to help the Americans in need? -- Centroids: The Center of the Radical Centrist Community <[email protected]> Google Group: http://groups.google.com/group/RadicalCentrism Radical Centrism website and blog: http://RadicalCentrism.org
