by _Wendy Wright_ (http://www.lifesitenews.com/author/guest/wendy-wright/) Mon Apr 29, 2013 14:53 EST WASHINGTON, D.C., April 29, 2013 (_C-FAM_ (http://c-fam.org/) ) - In the midst of sequestration cuts that have left flyers in American airports stranded in long delays and furloughed some federal workers, the Obama administration announced it will spend development aid on promoting homosexuality and transgender confusion in other countries. >From the announcement on April 8: _USAID ANNOUNCES NEW PARTNERSHIP TO PROMOTE LGBT HUMAN RIGHTS ABROAD_ (http://www.usaid.gov/news-information/press-releases/usaid-announces-new-partner ship-promote-lgbt-human-rights-abroad) WASHINGTON, D.C.– Today, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced a new LGBT Global Development Partnership, a public-private partnership between the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, the Gay & Lesbian Victory Institute (GLVI), the Williams Institute, and Olivia Companies, which further promotes foreign assistance to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) equality in emerging markets and developing countries. Starting its work in Ecuador, Honduras, Colombia, and expanding to even more countries, the partnership will strengthen the capacity of LGBT civil society organizations, train LGBT individuals to participate more fully in democratic processes, and undertake research on the economic impact of discrimination against LGBT individuals. The point is to elevate LGBT status. So, how will they determine if someone is qualified for the program? Will they ask if they are lesbian, homosexual, or bisexual? In the U.S. that would illegal. Will they track the person to prove his or her sexual behavior? Doesn’t this program inherently discriminate against one sexual orientation – heterosexual? Groups promoting marriage between a (biological) man and (biological) woman in these developing countries will be ineligible – and a target of attack by the groups being funded. Every country needs families. Developing countries even more so.
