But I did read the first couple of paragraphs before the screen froze up and I needed to exit the site. This is going to be a big budget production, apparently in the millions. Debut set for the Christmas season. What will be the Christian response? Could be almost anything but my best guess is...... no response, hence, de facto, let the homosexuals win again -and again and again and again, ad infinitum Well, that's one way to fight a war, retreat from every battle. One man armies don't win much of anything; I know that. But it is a far better alternative than doing nothing. In fact, I don't see any connection at all between doing nothing and any valid interpretation of Christian faith that I have ever heard of. Or of a good number of other faiths. "Onward Christian soldier" (singular) it is, then, but that is how it has always been and why should 2013 be any different? For sure this is an overstatement, but Pat Robertson's approach, or the approach of others who take similar stands, are not the issue. Those approaches accomplish little or nothing despite the resources that they sometimes put together. That sort of thing doesn't interest me because it is so ill-informed, virtually ineffective by design. My solution? Do what I can, but at least do that much. It really doesn't matter that I'm in a minority, even a minority of one. Numbers, public opinion, counting noses, are all irrelevant. Have a Merry Christmas, now you know what to expect from TV.
