The colonial misunderstanding of caste often repeats the same mistake. For instance, International Aid agencies like ActionA id International, which claim to be working for the Dalits and Adivasis in India, are primarily run by dominant caste individuals who do not have a proper understanding of the caste system and its socio-economic and cultural dimensions. This results in caste based discrimination on Dalits in their own institutional spaces!
