I haven't been Vineyard in a while, but here's where I think it should be: Glorifying the character of Christ If a atheist or Buddhist demonstrates Christ-likeness in some area better then we do, we should honor and embrace them. If a heretical preacher manifests superior character to the orthodox, we should give them a hearing. Else we might miss Jesus. If anyone talks about Jesus without walking like Him, we should offer them assistance to grow in that area. If they refuse, we should shun them. That's the only way I can think of to purify and grow the community of faith. What do you think?
