I agree. But the same could be said of the marketing plan. :-) You've mentioned there are many possible markets. We need to pick the most likely/valuable and come up with a thoughtful strategy for reaching them. If the goal is "earned media" rather then paid advertising, then a good first step is writing a press release. It forces you to come up with a clear summary of the message, as well as a tight focus on who you are trying to reach. What do you think?
