Can't copy the article, the system doesn't allow it, but check out
the November 15, 2016 issue of New Scientist.

Guess what? Blood transfusion from young mice rejuvenate
old mice, improve cognitive functions, improve muscle tone, etc
and the opposite also occurs, blood from old mice makes
young mice decrease memory capacity, slows them down, etc.

Of course, there is no 1:1 relationship between mice and men.
Seniors can remain mentally agile and productive into their 90s
( Frank Lloyd Wright, Drucker, and a good number of others)
if they continue to learn, read, study, write, etc, and couch potatoes
who are young are essentially old people with smooth skin,
but there is a relationship that is similar to that of other mammals
such as mice.

Point is that experiments are now under way to see what can
be done with 'blood therapy" to try and treat Alzheimers
and presumably, down the road, give seniors an "overhaul"
and turn back the clock some number of years.

Most interesting
