A novel argument. I'm not sure it truly addresses the risk that UBI also makes it easier to just drop out. I think a low UBI floor plus a job guarantee that also allows for entrepreneurship is the ideal combo. I personally think the best environment for incubating startup ideas is a boring part-time job that just barely pays the rent.
