New materials for The Power of Popular Culture

Almost ready for distribution are selected chapter materials
from the concluding section of the book that was started in
January of 2017, The Power of Popular Culture. This is
a long way from what, those many months ago, the book
was first conceived as being. Instead of a fairly short opus
of maybe 7 or 8 "normal length" chapters this has become
a book of 15 chapters, some of which contain 3 or 5 or more
"parts" each of which is chapter length. A text that might have
come in at around 150 pages has morphed into a full fledged
magnum opus that may reach 500 pages.
There is much more work to do before the final section is completed.
As a best guess approximately 1/3rd of the text for this section has
been written so far. Research has been completed for another third,
with the remaining chapters and "Parts" in various stages, some
consisting of nothing except preliminary research. Regardless,
the end of this project is finally on the horizon.
The Appendix has importance of its own. If the book, proper, may
conclude at around 500 pages, the Appendix will add another
200 pages more-or-less. Some items from the Appendix on the
subject of homosexuality are nearly ready for distribution and will be
sent as soon as possible. In cases this material was originally written
several years ago but in nearly every instance new material has been
added and various stylistic changes incorporated in the text.
The objective for the final section of the book, a section that by itself
might consist of a stand-alone shorter book, is to completely demolish
each and every argument that homosexuals and their deluded supporters
rely upon to try and justify same-sex psychopathology as somehow
"normal" and unobjectionable. That view, you should understand,
is something I regard as ridiculously ill-informed and an absurdity.
This is foundational to the argument in the book. That is, my view
is that proponents of "homosexual rights" are almost always
poorly informed, ignorant of even the basics of the subject,
and espouse ideas that are indefensible from start to finish.
All the while, of course, as they shout from the rooftops
that they are well informed, know everything important,
and anyone who has some other opinion must necessarily be
a backwoods dolt with little or no education.
Not that opponents of homosexuality are usually well-informed.
They usually are not well informed at all. The book is very clear
about this, viz, almost no-one is well informed and almost no-one
knows what they are talking about. However, while some degree
of ignorance is excusable when we are discussing construction labor,
sales clerks who work in megastores, hospital orderlies, or even
taxi drivers, what about professionals who have college degrees
including degrees from prestige schools like Princeton, Harvard,
Stanford, or the University of Chicago? It seems as if they
don't know much of anything, either.
Just maybe this book will serve as a corrective.
In opposition to the views of the political Left and of the Republican
establishment, for that matter also the views of the Trump administration,
what is offered instead is a combination of the best conclusions of critics
of homosexuality, from Charles Socarides to Paul Cameron, Judith Reisman,
and others who actually do know what they are talking about. And, of
course,
my own criticisms and counter-arguments are front and center.
The result, you may agree, is that there is no valid position to take
in defense of sexual deviants, aka, the perverted, the degenerate,
the sickest of the sick.
This is anything but the Evangelical approach, to speak of well intentioned
believers who long ago abandoned the testimony of the Apostle Paul
and nowadays insist to one and all that wisdom consists of "hating
the sin but loving the sinner." That outlook is contemptible. And it is
unbiblical. What this is all about is a thoroughly researched study
of homosexuality based on -so it now seems- "tons" of empirical evidence
that shows exactly how wrong about everything homosexuals
and their fellow travelers really are.
None of what I say is based on any respect at all for homosexuals.
I have no respect for any homosexuals and take the view that homosexual
conduct should be re-criminalized and those who take part in this
behavior punished to the full extent due to a capital crime.
Here is what Romans 1: 26-32 says on the subject:
"...God has given them up to shameful passions. Their women
have exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and their men
in turn, giving up natural relations with women, burn with lust
for one another; males behave indecently with males, and are
paid in their own persons the fitting wage of such perversion.
Thus, because they have not seen fit to acknowledge God, he has
given them up to their own depraved reason. This leads them to break
all rules of conduct. They are filled with every kind of injustice,
mischief,
rapacity, and malice; they are one mass of envy, murder, rivalry,
treachery,
and malevolence; whisperers and scandal-mongers, hateful to God, insolent,
arrogant, and boastful; they invent new kinds of mischief, they show no
loyalty
to parents, no conscience, no fidelity to their plighted word; they are
without
natural affection and without pity. They know well enough the just decree
of God, that those who behave like this deserve to die, and yet they do
it;
not only so, they actually applaud such practices."
If you do not like this point-of-view, take it up with the author.
I do not know of any Christian believer of standing anywhere
who accepts these words at face value. But I accept them
exactly as written.
This is the passage of scripture that Barack Hussein has called
an "obscure" preachment of no special significance. Actually
there is nothing obscure about it, the Book of Romans, ask
any theologian and he (or she) will tell you that by common consent
this text is central to all of Paul's Epistles and, after the Gospels
themselves, Romans is the most important book
in the entire New Testament.
By faith, my theological views sometimes are comparable to those
of Thomas Jefferson. But as liberal as Jefferson could be, more
than I am liberal, he once wrote Virginia Law that classified sodomy
(the word "homosexuality" had not been invented yet) as a capital
crime deserving the death penalty. I concur.
If you disagree, take it up with Thomas Jefferson; he can be reached
at his monument in Washington, DC.

Or take it up with George Washington or Theodore Roosevelt.
I don't know about you but I regard the wisdom of such great Americans
as worth infinitely more than anything ever said by today's homosexuals
with their ceaseless distortions of truth, endless lying to the public,
and relentless falsehoods.
Yet in nearly all of my arguments, except for papers in which religion
is discussed explicitly, you will not find many references to the Bible,
to matters of faith, or to religion generally. Instead, everything is
evidentiary, fact based, and scholarly.
I am more than a little tired of the political establishment , the news
media,
the educational establishment, the punditocracy, and elite opinion leaders
generally. This is to speak of an affluent population of dissemblers
and liars, of a class of people who deserve to be discredited
and thrown out on the street.
Of course, these elites will continue to do what they have always done:
Stonewall, launch into ad hominem attacks on anyone who actually
is an informed critic, and, if all else fails, resort to smears, false
witness,
and whatever forms of deception suit their purposes. At best, as I remember
all to well when this sort of thing first occurred to me, they might give
air time to some outspoken "representative" of the opposition, someone
guaranteed to be a buffoon, who, in defense of views critical of sodomy
can only come across as antedeluvian. Hence the various appearances of the
late Jerry Falwell on news shows when homosexuality was being debated.
As if it was a fair fight to match a homosexual psychiatrist bloodthirsty
wolf
against a naive clergyman lamb.
In modern terms, Joel Osteen, who also is critical of homosexuality, is so
poorly informed and poorly educated that he could not out-argue the
airheads who appeared on The View television show the day he was
asked to give his opinion of same-sex behavior.
None of such evasions will be possible in the future. Maybe this book,
like my previous books, will also go unpublished. Regardless-
(1) you will not find even one word of compromise from me
on the issue of homosexuality, ever, and
(2) my arguments will, some day, need to be looked at seriously,
debated, and dealt with. Like it or not.
Before you is actual scholarship, before you is empirical evidence
and the evidence of history and of the behavioral sciences.
And before you is the most radical critique of homosexuality that exists.
I already have one great satisfaction: My enemies are too gutless
to face the truths I have pointed out to them. I know that they
are gutless and I know that they are afraid of what I say.
Afraid? Hell, just thinking about what I say and they
defecate in their pants.
