Part 3. The Ideology of Perversion . An article from the June 5, 2014, issue of the homosexual journal The Advocate is especially informative. We learn, for instance, that Reagan’s attorney general, Ed Meese, was upset at accusations that his boss was anti-homosexual. Such charges, he said, are “totally unfair and totally unrepresentative of his views or anything he ever said.” . Reagan's speech writer, Peter Robinson, was quoted as saying that “the notion that he was somehow callous or had a cruel or cynical attitude towards homosexuals or AIDS victims is just ridiculous.” . Reagan's daughter, Patti Davis, explained in a 2003 Time magazine article cited in the Advocate, that as far back as the 1960s, her father expressed entirely positive and non-judgmental attitudes toward homosexuals. Moreover, in the years when she and her brother Ron still were kids, a female homosexual couple was employed as 'babysitters' to take care of them while their parents were elsewhere. Patti Davis concluded by saying that "the Reagans had close gay friends throughout their lives, including their years in Washington." . Then there was California Proposition 6, an initiative on the state ballot in 1978, commonly known as the Briggs Initiative. The objective of this measure was to prohibit homosexuals or anyone who supported homosexuals from working in -especially from teaching in- California public schools. At first, this initiative had strong public support, which reflected parental concern for the well being of their children. However, a massive anti-6 campaign was launched which included national figures like then-president, Jimmy Carter. Within California the anti-6 cause was led by Harvey Milk and.....none other than Ronald Reagan. . As the Advocate put it, Reagan's backing of the anti-6 campaign was not tepid in any way. "Reagan used language that was way ahead of its time; he argued that “prevailing scientific opinion is that an individual’s sexuality is determined at a very early age and that a child’s teachers do not really influence this.” These uniformed opinions were, of course, totally false to all relevant facts and simply parroted the homosexual party line. The whole idea, as each and every homosexual knew, was to open up the schools to pederasts to seduce children. . The significance of the defeat of Proposition 6 was that it showed what a well funded political campaign led by political celebrities could do to defeat those who opposed homosexuals. What was remarkable was that opponents of homosexuals had gotten as far as they did, considering that its most prominent leader was someone who was ridiculously uninformed about nearly everything relevant to the issue, Anita Bryant, famous for her "Save Our Children" crusade in Florida in those years. . But Reagan was antithetical toward Christians who opposed homosexuals, just about all sources agree. Indeed, Reagan has been described as repulsed by Christians who objected to homosexuality. In case any Reagan-worshipping Evangelicals would like to know. . What Horowitz did point out about Reagan, without criticizing the president directly, was the fact that his Surgeon General, C. Everett Koop, was subservient to homosexual interests throughout his term in office from 1981 to 1989. Everything Koop did in those years that was related in any way to homosexuality, was pro-homosexual. Reagan knew this, had every opportunity to stop Koop from carrying out his policies, but allowed things to continue. But why would Reagan have intervened on behalf of the Christian position on the issue? He didn't believe in the Christian point-of-view for one minute. . Hence, while the AIDS epidemic raged, as it did for a full decade, killing tens of thousands, all efforts to limit the contagion were stopped -except those measures that passed the approval text of organized homosexuals. Thus AIDS education programs that finally were approved were little more than lessons in how to be a homosexual for school children. Or little more than lessons for adults in blaming heterosexuals as equally culpable for the spread of the disease, an assertion that (1) completely fooled nearly all normal but hopelessly uninformed Americans, and (2) disguised the primary means by which AIDs was transmitted, anal sex, as if this was not a factor or no more than one minor factor out of several others of greater significance. . That is, Reagan's Surgeon General deliberately misled the population so that movie industry homosexuals an others whom the president thought highly of would not be offended. As Horowitz put it, this "de-gaying of AIDS" was not only flagrantly dishonest, it had the effect of opening up new opportunities for homosexuals to recruit the young to their perversion. It did this by instructing school kids about condom use in connection with rectal sex, the one population that was told about buggery, whether or not parents objected, which many did, to no avail. . The nationwide AIDS prevention program was funded with tax dollars and was not targeted at homosexuals and IV drug users, except incidentally, but focused on the slogan "AIDS is an Equal-Opportunity Virus" which is as much a heterosexual illness as it is a homosexual affliction, a claim that was a false to the facts as it was possible to get -since 3/4ths of all victims were homosexual and three-fourths of the balance were druggies. . It took until 1996, long after Reagan had left office, that the first exposé that unmasked Koop's lies was published, a major feature in the Wall Street Journal. Not that there weren't thousands of cases of heterosexuals contacting the disease, there were. Which was a serious problem with respect to patrons of prostitutes more than any other heterosexual demographic. Still, even there, in places where it was legal, as it was in Nevada, health measures were put in place early on and patrons of houses of assignation had little to worry about. . Elsewhere, as in San Francisco where heterosexual prostitution was illegal (but homosexual prostitution was not, for all practical purposes), problems did arise as hundreds of "johns" found themselves with the disease. But nothing was done about early cases of hookers diagnosed with AIDS because public health officials, in deference to homosexuals, were prohibited from acting. A woman with AIDS might be treated in a hospital with such medicines as were available at the time but then she would be released to ply her trade as she saw fit. Simple quarantine would have ended this danger but homosexuals mobilized to oppose quarantine and no health professionals raised their voices to warn the public and politicians were not about to antagonize 20% of the city's voters. . Regardless, there was no massive AIDS outbreak among heterosexuals, by far most cases of the disease were found among homosexuals. Yet most of the money spent on AIDS education was disbursed to heterosexuals -at the insistence of homosexuals! The reason should be obvious even if few normal people ever got the idea because few ever did even minimal research and nearly all were ridiculously uninformed. What was the reason? Homosexuals sought to divert public attention from themselves and create a climate of opinion in which heterosexuals would not single-out homosexuals for criticism. . I vividly recall trying to reason with people in that era, insisting over and over that the worse problem, by far, was homosexual responsibility for AIDS contagion, but no-one would listen. They all "knew better" that AIDS was also a disease that effected heterosexuals just as badly. What everyone was so sure of, however, was totally false. Just as, in the early 21st century, what "everyone knows" about homosexuality in general is totally false. About which it should be said, so that Republicans should not bear all the onus of being stupid, Democrats are far more stupid; what they believe is what their political party of choice tells them, which they are eager to accept as gospel truth, no questions asked. . When we turn the clock back to 1971 we can see Reagan's true colors all-too-clearly. That was the year when Troy Perry founded the so-called Metropolitan Community Church. Parts of the story are discussed in a 1974 book by Ronald Enroth and Gerald Johnson entitled The Gay Church. There is confirmation in a 2013 volume by Dudley Clendinen and Adam Nagourney, Out For Good: The Struggle to Build a Gay Rights Movement in America. Troy Perry's church -referred to by people who knew what was really going on as a dating service for queers- was organized in Los Angeles under California state laws. The governor at the time, a certain Ronald Reagan, sent the new "Christian" religious group a telegram congratulating all concerned . . Thus, looking at the big picture, we see Jerry Falwell and dozens of other Christian leaders who were Reagan supporters aligning themselves with a candidate for president who saw nothing objectionable about a "church" that teaches that Jesus was homosexual, that homosexuals are made that way by God himself, and that all of the 30 passages in the Bible that condemn homosexuality do not exist -a feat made possible by not reading the Bible except those passages that are falsely made to appear to be accepting of sodomy, as selected by "clergy." . In short, Troy Perry's ersatz "church" is a travesty. . Unfortunately Horowitz did not mention any of this. Nor do other conservatives. . One reason for not seeing the elephant in the room is because, of course, the elephant is very big, namely, the Republican Party. Exactly how can anyone explain any of this away? Besides, many Republicans don't see anything wrong with sodomy. And these Republicans often support the GOP with large sums of money. Others represent important wings of the party, like the basically pro-homosexual Bush family, and the also pro-homosexual Buckleys with their various East Coast homosexual friends. . Besides, it is easier to pretend that all of the problem is to be found among Democrats. Blaming Democrats for everything evades responsibility and allows party leaders to appeal to social conservatives as if GOP leaders are doing everything possible about the evil of homosexuality while actually doing almost nothing. And the leadership knows that social conservatives are too stupid to figure out why the values they insist are important are ignored as a matter of routine. Its all the fault of people like the late Ted Kennedy, or, more recently, the fault of William Clinton, or, until very recently, Barack Hussein Obama. . To be sure, Democrats are worse about this issue, but is this fact of political life a revelation to anyone? As long as Republicans continue to present themselves as innocent victims of the political process the game will continue -exactly as Ronald Reagan wanted, with more and more successes for homosexuals. As long as Republicans continue to venerate Reagan in wilful ignorance of what kind of man he really was, a hypocrite of the first magnitude, there can be no success for Christians and Jews and other people of faith in their efforts to make America the kind of decent nation it once was, with a common morality that serves us all. . This hardly means exactly what the Puritans meant in the 17th century, or even what the Protestant-Catholic-Jew religious consensus of the 1950s embodied. And which also was similar to traditional Buddhist, Hindu, Confucian and other religion based moralities that have served mankind well for -literally- thousands of years. Yet some semblance of that morality is needed. We cannot accept the nihilistic "anything goes" anti-morality that predominates in our culture in the early 21st century. We need to mobilize against that system of libertarian values as understood by the political Right and the anarchist-in-spirit values of the Cultural Marxist political Left. . It is essential to recognize the damages caused by these anti-religion philosophies Our most urgent need in America is to destroy the credibility of each of these ideologies, all of which are pro-homosexual, anti-moral, and anti-American. . But how are we supposed to do that given the fact that the very people who supposedly have the interests of decent Americans at heart are as stupid as they are? This is not metaphor, it is a clinical description. These people are uninformed, make no effort at all to become informed, and in any field outside of their professional area of expertise they are babes in the woods. . All of which is inexcusable. Most of the people we are discussing have college degrees; certainly millions do, even if not an absolute majority. Are there any college degrees that do not require mastery of basic research skills? Yet nobody at all did any research? The answer defies comprehension, because the answer is "yes;" there wasn't any research by anyone. Or, to be more accurate, there was precious little and what there was , was completely ignored by everyone who could have made a difference in the public realm. This includes the news media. After all, you don't need to be an Evangelical Christian to check the facts and study a subject in depth. No journalists did so. . If there was an exception, don't keep it a secret. That someone deserves belated recognition -and his (or her) editors deserve condemnation for not making an issue out of flagrant and massive misrepresentation of homosexuality to the general public. However, this said, it must be doubted if you will be able to identify anyone. . What this means is that everyone who has been swayed by what is now consensus arguments in support of so-called "gay rights" has been duped. Which is also to say that just about everyone who reads this -because the snow job has nearly been universal, effecting almost the whole society- has been deceived. Additionally it means that "you" have internalized a series of myths and falsehoods and lies which you have taken for truths. You also, by now, habitually defend all of this unmitigated crap as if it was pure gold, "the thing to do," in defense of those poor misunderstood and persecuted homosexuals. . You're a sucker, just as surely as everyone who invested in Bernie Madoff's get-rich-quick scam was a sucker. You have been conned, taken for a ride, snookered, cheated, and intellectually swindled. And you only have yourself to blame. . Are you proud of yourself for all the times you have defended sexual psychopaths as if you were standing up for everything good and true and noble? . In other words, you now cannot tell right from wrong, you regard evil as good and sickness as health. All because organized homosexuals went virtually unchallenged ever since 1973, the only public opposition coming from Christians -and some Jews- who basically were clueless about how to make a compelling case for sexual sanity and moral decency. . There is no face-saving way to say any of this. All that can be done now is to change your values, to the extent that you have been supportive of homosexuals, completely, 180 degrees, and do your very best to start over -no matter what your friends or colleagues or fellow workers or anyone else thinks about the issue. Either that or you have no integrity and you would need to live the rest of your life knowing what a total moral failure you have become. . The choice is your's. . It won't be easy? So what ? You did your part in creating this mess, it is time to take responsibility. But if you are like most people all that anyone can realistically expect is that you will make every excuse you can think of to not do one damned thing. . After all, money is more important, or status, and "what will my friends think?" . You cannot possibly know the depths of my feelings of revulsion toward each and everyone who has become a supporter of homosexuals in the years since Nixon was in the White House. They all think that they have been so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o smart. Actually they all have been stupid beyond belief.
