Centroids:
If my article, "Violent attacks by homosexuals against Christian churches"
isn't political dynamite, isn't newsworthy, what is?

And you'd think it represents a considerable opportunity for Centroids.
No-one sees it that way. I guess everyone is terrified. Not about the
violence of homosexuals but at what others might say if you actually
took a stand against homosexual violence.

The facts are irrefutable. The outrages against Christians committed
by homosexuals rises to the level of felony crime. There is no sign
this is going to stop.

What has been the response of Christians here at Centroids?

Drumroll........

Absolutely nothing.

Nothing at all.

What the hell do you call that?

Not even one comment?

This isn't the first time something similar has happened.
What does this say? I'll tell you one thing it says,
it explains one major reason why Centroids still is stuck
where it pretty much was in 2004 when we started out.
There is close to zero interest in changing the world
for the Good, mostly its all hot air, the hot air rationalized
reflexively, every time, just as all punches are pulled
and excuses for inaction are portrayed as loyalty
to higher principle.

As if someone was to say to the people of Florida, hey,
a hurricane is barreling down on the state, what are you going
to do about it?

As if no-one in Florida did one damned thing to counteract
the coming storm even when they knew the danger it represented.
Because, you see, everything else is more important, no matter
how beside-the-point of facing the danger of the storm.

"It will all work out in 15 years," is the excuse for everything.
About which, I have had it. That kind of rationalization
should be seen for what it is: A confession of incompetence
to do anything practical that can make an actual difference
in the real world.

Its not merely bringing a knife to a gun fight, it is
running away from the fight. The word for this is "cowardice."

Speaking personally, while cognizant of good things in the past,
this also tells me something about "Christian conscience."
It is very selective and seems to be predicated on conformism
to public opinion. NOT on changing public opinion.

We live on different planets.
