When I was a consultant, I was told “A story is something that happens to a 
character you care about.”

The easiest stories start with a character the listener already cares about. 

That’s the challenge for RC. The establishment and masses don’t care about our 
characters - Truth, Median Voter, Science, History. 

I actually agree with your earlier point. We need movies and novels that make 
our abstract characters concrete and compelling. 

Why has no real philosopher produced anything as compelling as Atlas Shrugged?

Where is the modern Narnia?
