Good point Ernie. What has happened to the radical center when all the recent political energy has gone into extreme attacks? The “center” is still there. Perhaps the term “civil discourse” could replace the term radical center. I have seen enough radical in the last campaign to make me ill. I am elated that the campaign is over. We got an outrageous number of attack ads in our close senate race. Trump visited Montana 4 times to trash Jon Tester (who won). The “radical?” attacks, by both sides but especially against Tester, got very old.

It’s possible, but vanishingly unlikely. What if we search for a useful story instead? A story that helps us cause the change we seek to make in the world, and to feel good doing it. If you can’t solo bootstrap it, get some help to install a new story.
