E:
Got a rise out of you, didn't it?

You are right, of course, but that comment reflects my sense of frustration
more than anything else. It was sort of tongue in cheek. At least that
was my intent.

I donno about the exact solution, to be candid. Your suggestion is good
but there may be another approach that might be as good, maybe better.
Who can say? But there's gotta be something.

Listening to that woman -representing Silicon Valley, as it were,
and representing the Democratic Party simultaneously- made me apoplectic.

I wanted to scream at the TV set, "you idiots, can't you see your own biases?
They are as obvious as the nose on your face."

All of this in contrast to myself, who, as you are well aware,
is someone with no biases whatsoever.

Hi Billy,

The solution? Compulsory education in sociobiology starting in high school.
Um, really? We’ve had compulsorily education in evolution for decades and yet
fundamentalists still disagree. And in religion for centuries before that with
mediocre results.

Culture change is necessary, but education is hardly a cure-all.

What really changes minds is experiences plus incentives. Create a game where
people get an edge by having a practical understanding of how evolution works.
Don’t force it down their throats; make it cool and subversive...
