True.  But the converse is also true:  if our ideologies aren’t actually 
helping us become part of the solution, we must reject them as dysfunctional. 

It is as silly for black people to blame whites for the dysfunction of black 
culture as it is for whites to blame blacks. From where I sit as an Indian, the 
whole mess is deeply intertwined and codependent. 

Who is going to be the adult in the room who takes responsibility for helping 
everyone see their part, instead of whining that other people aren’t stepping 
up?
