Post Script to Dark Agenda:

What is most disconcerting about David Horowitz's new book, with the sub-title

"The War to Destroy Christian America," is how little was done to exploit

the very powerful idea that the theme of a militant campaign against
Christianity

actually is. To be sure, the book introduces the idea to good effect. But when
all

is said what the book really is, is a prelude to the concept of the Leftist
assault

against Christian religion.

I know what I had expected to find when purchasing the book; what I got was a
fraction

of what the opus could have been.

For now I simply do not have the time to work with the idea to best effect; all
that can

be done here is to outline what might be done in the future.

To drive the point home, much more is needed that "baby explanations" of what
the Left

thinks about religion. Some of that may be necessary, but there was far too
much

of the obvious and far too little red meat.

Suppose someone handed the theme to me to work with. How would I proceed?

Priority #1:

Find as many anti-Christian statements by Left-wing Democrats as possible,
especially

"name" Democrats like Diane Feinstein or Keith Ellison. My guess is that, while
it

would take serious research to do a quality job of it, there probably are 25
or 30

incriminating quotes "out there" to be found. In other words make it clear that

the leadership of the Democratic Party is rabid in its 'anti-Christianism.'

#2:

Find as many anti-Christian statements by hard core Leftists as possible,
people who may

be nominal Democrats but whose loyalties are to the further political Left.

BTW, I never use the word "progressive" to denote these cretins. One of my
objectives

is to rehabilitate the word "progressive" so that it regains its original
meaning from

the era of Teddy Roosevelt. That is, I am also waging a war to popularize
intellectual history,

to popularize history per se, and to destroy the credibility of the media for
its many (many)

attacks against important words or names from the past as if history has no
value and

so what if current headline terms butcher the past? I am, after all, a
professional historian,

and despise people who have no respect for history -such as most journalists.

As for TR, he happens to be Hero #1 for Radical Centrists and, at least as I
see it,

there can be no compromise with the reputation or ideas of Teddy Roosevelt.

None whatsoever.

This includes my future revenge against everyone (everyone) who has used

the acronym ISIS, the name of a major Egyptian Goddess whom Plutarch venerated,

as if "who gives a damn about an Egyptian Goddess?" Well, I give a damn

and at the first opportunity I will have researchers look up as many

quotes as possible of people who habitually used ISIS to refer to the Islamic
State

and humiliate these people thoroughly; if I can, I will ruin their careers.

I feel almost as strongly about the word "progressive." That word

belongs to Teddy Roosevelt, not to any goddamned Communists

or to historically illiterate journalists.

To put it in such terms, I am playing chess; journalists and politicians and
others

are playing checkers. My objective is to clean up American English, not only to

fight battles that city desk editors understand or that boiler plate politicos
understand.

Any given fight necessarily will be about the obvious, the stuff under one's
nose,

but it may also be about language, about scores to settle with enemies, about

popular culture and abuses of popular culture, and may also have religion

as a subtext. Sometimes I go out of my way to be very explicit like the time

a year or two ago when I circulated several articles about the Goddess Isis.

These things are important to me and I will fight for what is important to me.

To return to the objective for #2-

The objective is to build a compelling case that provides as much evidence as
possible

to the effect that all kinds of Leftists of standing are anti-Christian.

The objective is to turn public opinion against the Left, across the board,

not just rally the Right-wing base. The goal should be to destroy the
credibility

of the Left and in the process cause the base of the Left to collapse.

Hey, it isn't enough, not nearly, to quote Marx or Lenin. You need a dossier

on all (that is, as many as possible) current Leftists who are anti-Christian

and rub their noses in it for the benefit of the public. Really rub their noses
in it.

And make sure that the public sees their humiliation.

My goal is to destroy the Left completely.

#3: Which homosexuals are also Leftists? Find out, make a major issue out of
it.

I especially want to discredit and humiliate homosexuals. The perverts

are my worst enemy and this is total war.

#4: It is crucial to find "serious" literature -from journals, scholarly
books, etc.-

which is anti-Christian. What is the strategy of the enemy intelligentsia?

Show the evidence, spell it all out, make a huge stink about it.

# 5: Show, with all available evidence, just how incompetent and stupid the
Right

happens to be. Show weaknesses in Right-wing arguments, show Rightist fallacies,

and Rightist unjustified assumptions, and Rightist special pleading, the whole
9 yards.

My goal is NOT to please the Right but to inspire and recruit political
Independents,

especially smart Independents. The Right, for the most part, isn't worth the
time of day.

Mostly the Right is stupid and retrograde and I want no part of that kind of
crap.

The whole idea is to make it totally clear that the only good solution to the
problem

is found in Radical Centrism and that both major political parties are worthless

and criminal and contemptible. This is all about replacing today's politics

with a politics for the future based on Radical Centrism.

If anyone wishes to do business with me it will be on my terms; this should be
understood

with no possibility of doubt. No-one else has the wherewithal to do what I
want to do

and I am not about to abdicate the leadership role I intend to play.

To give you some idea...
