Not sure about the Pi - but the good news is we received our first packet
from a mobile station yesterday. Hurrah.

I also built a 435 Mhz Yagi antenna yesterday for satellite reception.
Going to try to get a packet through the ISS's UHF digipeater, and see what
else I can hear from the roof. Feel free to try it out at the space if you
have a HT.
