Good morning,Â

I hope this email finds you well!

I'm leading the amateur radio team at the NYC Marathon's Mile 15 and, if you're available on Sunday November 2nd, could certainly use your help. The day runs from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 3:30-4 p.m.

Radio operators, who receive a race credential, hat, t-shirt and jacket from the NY Road Runners, are responsible for monitoring the course for runners in need of assistance. They also report dropouts via a net; it's an exciting event and something that will help all of us hone our skills.Â

Mile 15, just before the Queensboro Bridge on the Queens side, is walking distance to the 7, N, E, G, R and F trains. Â Â

Please let me know if you're interested and I can forward you the sites where you need to register for a credential.Â

And, as always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.Â

Warm regards,Â
