I originally had a multiband dipole. It's damaged.

I think it'd be acceptable to get a 40-10m g5rv and set that up instead.

Any thoughts, different ideas, etc?

A hex beam definitely would be easier to set up - just lash it to the open
corner of the roof.

I was also considering one of those "vertical dipoles", more commonly known
as "groundplaneless verticals" (which we all know is haberdash). I was
looking at some designs and they'd be a tad more difficult to install,
since they flop about 25 feet in the air.
