Will the radio continuously display something when the clock display is showing (like an "A" or "alarm" or a little red light or something like that) to indicate the alarm is set?
Generally this is how most bedside alarm clocks work when you set an alarm. That way, you know with a quick glance at the clock that the alarm is actually set to go off.
