I just picked up an SB Radio at my local NotSoBestBuy (although the $149 price was great). The only significant (to me) glitch I've run across so far is this: My wireless network (which is WPA-2) is set up to NOT broadcast the SSID. I got the radio connected to my network just fine (after tedious twirl-and-press to enter the SSID and passphrase), and it downloaded a firmware update, installed, and rebooted. On the reboot, it did NOT find my network; I had to go into the network preferences menu and manually select my network (fortunately it stored all the info for it). Also, I've unplugged the unit a couple of times as I try out different locations, and every time on powerup, I have to manually select my network. This is annoying at best.
So, anybody know how to set the default network for the radio to connect to on bootup? I couldn't find anything obvious in the menus. Any help is appreciated. -- kmr ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kmr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10664 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71568 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
