Problem is that there are severe design flaws regarding the MYSB connection, i.e. the Radio looses it but doesn't notice it and is not able to restore it even if you press buttons that require a MYSB (or SBS) connection. Letting aside a missing "watchdog" feature that checks the connection every now and then to be sure not to miss a new alarm time programmed via MYSB during one of these mysterious MYSB connection issues.
And again: I'm not talking about a broken internet connection or issues with WLAN but only about the Radio's inability to keep/verify/restore its connection with MYSB although the internet connection is perfectly valid. Besides, this also shows that the Radio won't work correctly if the MYSB servers should be really down during the alarm. Although the Radio is obviously able to wake up at the correct time, connect to the correct station and play the stream even without MYSB, it's then stuck in a weird state and behaves erratically. -- 0xdeadbeef ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 0xdeadbeef's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2287 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71585 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
