that should be AACPlus, 192bit... AACPlus in Easy CDDA Extractor is m4a
or m4b files. I use this format as it plays in iTunes and iPod, but is
better quality with a smaller file size than AAC.

I'll try your suggestion asap. What you said about the Boom makes me
think that maybe, for this particular file format, that the two devices
might not work off the same server due to the transcoding... which would
be very irritating as the Logitech site doesn't warn you of that
issue... if that is indeed the issue.
