I do not have a Squeezebox Server, My SB Radio is connected via wireless. If I power-down my router and wireless, when the alarm triggers, a screen flashes with the "no network" screen, then the Alarm Snooze / Off Screen, BUT, no back-up alarm. Not intermittent, this is an easy fix.
