The problem persisted even after rebooting as recommended as well as unplugging and restoring power to the radio. I decided to just restore the factory settings and that seems to have done the trick. After reconnecting to my wireless network, it recognized that the radio was already registered under my mysqueezbox.com account. Once connected, it at least preserved some of my settings like the name and synchronization so that was relatively painless. Other settings like wallpapers and such were lost.
