I have to agree with you. SBR is a brilliant concept, just poorly
implemented in it's early version. This is not unusual for a first
version of a new product. 

Hopefully, once customer feedback gets listened to and analyzed, future
software upgrades will make is more user-friendly and much more stable. 
The hardware seems capable, with the exception of the lack of a battery
backup for the alarm clock.

It was actually a lot less of a geek-required product that I expected. 
I expected a Linux-like experience (much assembly required) and instead
got a Windows-3 experience (easy-to-get-going, but largely broken).
