Since 7.4.2 is still in beta I'd have to guess that you were running 7.4.2 prior to the update. I don't mean to sound unsympathetic, but when you run the betas you are buying into regular (usually nightly) updates. If you don't want these updates you should fall back to the stable official release, which is 7.4.1. On the other hand, even updating the SB Radio firmware shouldn't wipe out your Home menu settings, so maybe something else is going on with your setup.
