Hi, just got a Squeezebox Radio a few days ago, and I wonder if it's normal to have white noise(static) from the speaker even if the radio is in standby ...
It's not very load, and once the music is playing, it's not audible. But since I use the radio for the alarm function it's very close to my bed. And so find the noise a little disturbing. When you turn the unit off completly it's gone of course. But when you turn it on, there's a little "plop" after the welcome message. That's when the noise starts.
