You could take a look at the Diagnostics screen and check the voltages the power supply delivers. I had a problem once that the power supply delivered about 4-5 volts instead of its usual 18 volts. Since my unit has batteries as well this resulted in some very weird unexpected power down issues. In my case unplugging the adapter from the wall socket and plugging it back in solved the problem.
