7.4.2 and 7.5 introduced a new 'feature' - that is -

when an alarm goes off and you click 'alarm off' in the corresponding
window the popup vanishes, but the audio keeps on playing
(https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14578)

I finding this pretty unintuitive (and consider this a bug).
I expect to have the audio off, when I stop the alarm.
This is the default behaviour of every other alarm clock in the world
!

Now in the morning I have to cancel the alarm-menu and in addition need
to press one more button to stop the audio. All this when I just woke up
and can't find any button in a dark room (display of the radio is still
dim, also backlit buttons are missing as we know).
How I able to explain THIS to my wife ?

One possible solution would be to have 3 option 'Snooze', 'Stop alarm',
'Continue Listening' (as of
https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14620) - at least the
variants are labeled correctly then.

BUT: having three options would make me need to think and look at the
display even more in the morning. Remember: when waking up the display
is dimmed and actually you can't read the menu-options - so I don't
consider it good solution either:

Right now I got used to:
Snooze: Press the big knob
Alarm off: Tuuuuuuurrrrn the big knob und Press.

This I can do without looking at the display and also when I'm not at
full mind when just waking up.

I wanted to know, how others see this ??

- do you know any other alarm clock, that doesn't stop the sound when
you stop an alarm ? How is it solved there - is this the default mode or
do they have extra buttons ?

- do you favour stopping the audio or do you prefer having the audio go
on, when you stop the alarm ?

- could you handle three menu options in the morning ?

- How do Boom and other devices handle this (we want to stay
consistent, don't we ?)
