I've had preset problems on the Boom. Try turning off synchronization between mysqueezebox.com and Squeezeboxserver. I only use Squeezeboxserver, but I believe that setting was causing the problems. Don't recall exactly where the setting is, unfortunately... hunt around the Squeezeboxserver settings page.
