I'm sorry to bring up that topic again. But I seem to have the opposite
problem. For the last months I've been fiddling with the Squeezebox
Radio, in an endless effort to get the darn thing working reliably.

(Especially the alarm functionality has been terribly flawed (yet
released and sold... but that's another topic) and is currently under
heavy bugfixing/development with great test/dev support and help by
Radio owners.)

Anyway, back to the problem: For all those software and patch tests and
experiments with the alarm, I had to deal with both mysqueezebox and
local SB servers (to install beta and in-development software).

But so far, I think I haven't found an option to switch to a local SB
server in my home network which I'm only turning on for software tests.
I think I have managed to switch to the local server only by some
combinations of resetting or even factory resetting and reconnection to
my wireless LAN... but I cannot remember the exact sequence. After all,
I'm sure there must be some hidden option or a more convenient way to
switch from mysqueezebox connection to a local server connection.

Any ideas?
