Not much you can do if the stream is unreliable ? The latest 4.7.2 - nightly contains hell of a lot fixes regarding the backup-alarm (http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.4). You might try it - but it won't help you with the stream - it will just help you getting up at the right time.
