Which version of SBS are you running? I'm currently running 7.4.2-29879, but I'm not asked to upgrade the firmware.
You are not required to do anything at all in order to upgrade the firmware? When I select "Update firmware" it just tells me that I have the current version (7.4.1 r79xx), but that I may reinstall it if I want to.
