I noticed that time drifts after a week or so, so that it is eventually as much as 20 to 30 seconds off (from Internet time -- my server and router get time from government time servers). What is interesting is that it appears that the radio (internally) must be keeping the correct time, but the DISPLAY of the clock is wrong. How do I know this? Well, once the time is off by about 30 seconds or so, the alarm fires at what appears to be "early". So if I have the alarm set for 6:00 AM, it fires at 5:59 AM (it only does this when the drift has reached a certain point).
So, in other words, when the time displayed is off by 30 seconds or so (late by 30 seconds), internally the radio must be keeping accurate time -- hence the alarm going off at what "appears" to be one minute early (but is in reality probably the correct time --as the displayed time is late. Right now, the only work-around is to reboot the radio (hold down power button for 2 seconds). This agains synchs time correctly. It is my understanding that the radio updates its time every hour. I believe it is doing this, but NOT updating the clock display for some reason. I've seen other people report alarm firing one minute early (I bet it is due to this issue). -- eap ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eap's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32788 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74814 _______________________________________________ Radio mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
