Just tested playing 30 Jan show - works OK for me. By "timeout" - do you means no menus or you get menu for programs but it times out after you try to play a program.
Have you installed PlayReal plugin and also mplayer ? Can you try playing the URL below using the "Tune-in" on the WebUI. http://www.publicradio.org/tools/media/player/phc/2010/01/30_phc.smil The plugin uses the RealAudio stream which uses port 554 which is sometimes blocked by some routers.
