And to complete my dislike of player knobs, I've just discovered that the 
functionality of the Transporter knob is now broken.  If I am playing a track, 
and leave the player untouched for 30 secs for the MIS screensaver to display, 
and then try to rotate the knob to see the next song in the playlist, it jumps 
to play the next track.
