Undoubtedly so.

What annoys me more than anything, is that Boom, Radio and Transporter all have
knobs on the front panel, but they all do something different. All are located
in adjoining rooms, often synced together (Transporter in Lounge, Boom in
study, Radio in kitchen). Confuses the hell out of my wife, when she walks up
to one and twiddles the knob to find that it does (in her opinion) random
things. i.e. it depends which player to approach, an whether you've done
anything in the last 30 seconds.

Radio has a volume control, so knob doesn't need to control volume, but
something else has been added to it to overload the functionality. Boom also
has a volume control, but that didn't stop the knob from being overloaded to
also act as a volume control.

My wife doesn't use any of these player front panels now, which is a bit of a
problem, because the IR Remote has a habbit of controlling more than one
player, so that appears to do random things, because it controls two players at
once.
