I noticed this alarm volume problem this morning too. SB3 in bedroom, alarm volume is set to 100. Alarm went off this morning, but the volume was low, because I had been playing music at the low volume late the previous day.
i.e. the volume did not change back to 100 when the alarm went off this morning. I was going to raise a bug report when I saw this thread.
