It would certainly be more convenient to use the Squeezebox to enter ratings - casually reach over and press a few buttons while listening (or perhaps do it through the browser, though that's less convenient).
If need be, however, I'm prepared to do it through MediaMonkey (though I don't use that to -listen- to music. I've already used MM to set quite a number of ratings. It was my understanding that these were stored in a fairly standard tag (known as "popularimeter" or something similar).
