Robin - The nomenclature to do with the Squeezebox is very confusing. The names of the different programs keep being changed, but older users will refer to them by their old names.
Currently, there is mysqueezebox.com (MSB), which is the online server, and Squeezebox Server (SBS), which is the software that you load onto your computer that allows you to access audio files on your own system. I don't have many audio files on my system so I have not used SBS so I am not familiar with its peculiarities. You will probably need to open a new thread for more info on SBS. I am puzzled that you say the MediaFly appears in MyApps and Podcast Player. Since they are both apps, I would expect them to appear under MyApps. Do you need both of them? Is one podcast app enough? Did you install them both from MSB or is one coming from MSB and the other from SBS. I don't know much about MediaFly. I tried it for a while, but I could never get the settings the way I wanted them so I lost patience and uninstalled it and installed Podcast Player from MBS to access my podcasts. Even though you are a new user you will have discovered that the documentation with the radio is grossly inadequate, but the people on this forum are very knowledgeable and endlessly patient. The Logitech developers monitor the site and participate in the threads. Every once in a while someone gets a little testy, but generally everyone is very kind. This is one of the best User Forums I have ever participated in. The Radio has so many great features that having a new one is like being set loose in a candy store. Who knew that you can actually receive the news headlines or read a musician's bio. What I mean to say is, don't be shy about asking for whatever help you need. People will be delighted to help. They will tell you more than you ever thought you wanted to know. All this blather is to tell you that I don't know enough about SBS to be very helpful, but your question has encouraged me to start messing around with SBS as soon as my new computer comes.
