Urgh.
Just updated to 7.4.2 a few days ago.
Don't know why I did that, now it seems like a really bad idea.
I knew most of the bugs that I had with 7.4.1, and could work with
them, but this is now worse. :(

First: alarm is no longer reliable. On the earlier fw, it worked fine,
as long as my connection didn't drop at some point just during the alarm
start or if the server went offline. When that happened, the backup
sounded just like it should have.
For me, the loud start and then 'smooth' fade-in is still present.
Also: if I have line-in enabled from earlier (I plug my laptop in to
watch podcasts/youtube videos) it will play the alarm with no mid-range
or bass and very low volume.

The alarm will also start and stop randomly, still never showing the
alarm menu.
If I press one of the preset keys to start a channel after/during the
alarm, it will stay at the 'now playing' screen for the alarm channel
with the screen scrolling the alarm channel's info and showing that it's
stopped, when something is actually playing.

It also doesn't accept button or wheel input sometimes. Highly
annoying, since the loud alarm wakes me up and then I turn down the
volume to keep listening. This worked fine in 7.4.1, the loud start
didn't really bother me, as I usually have a hard time waking up to
alarms.

Is there a way to go back to 7.4.1?
the update came via mysqueezebox, but my server should still be running
7.4.1 (unless the software auto-updates).
