Now I got it up and running. I can confirm the volume control bug with the remote.
I can also confirm that the remote are identical to the one delivered with boom same numbers on the stickers. So the info we got that the Radio remote is different is apearently pure BS. More worrying is that the volume control bug is not confined to radio it's on the boom to !! with any of the remotes . My old SB3 remote works just fine with all my players :) Battery fitted just fine and charging seems to work . This really really begs for the question the remote is available separately for 10$ (as spare boom remote, but they *are the same*) Why this accessory pack, why not just the battery ? people who wanted both could have ordered a battery *and* a remote ?
